Ray’s the Steaks Moves Up

As if it could get any better, Ray’s the Steaks just opened a burger joint. Heaven! Not to mention my obsession with Cheerwine!

$7 burger and its generous (and gratis!) accompaniments—toppings including sautéed mushrooms, grilled onions, and charred jalapeños, plus sides of buttered corn on the cob and thick-sliced watermelon. A couple of things are missing from the minimalist menu—namely, fries and beer. You can wash your meal down with pints of Old Dominion root beer (on tap) or bottles of Cheerwine soda. If you’re craving something salty and potato-y on the side, there’s a big selection of Route 11 potato chips. And for those with an extra stomach, there’s super-rich Moorenko’s ice cream for dessert.

Can’t Wait To Blog

It seems the DC “tech community” (geeky developer types) is different than the “PR/tech community” (aka me now) and the “blog community” (what I used to be). Not sure if it should be that way, but it is.

I’m hoping to change that.

So, I’m re-vamping my personal blog in a couple weeks. I used to be known in the dcblogs.com scene for dating and nightlife. I am going to try to bridge my work social media/PR contacts and followers with my old DC blog scene ones. It’ll be hosted on a new domain etc. which will be totally revamped (thanks @mommymishaps) and also feature guest posts from old blogger friends.

Stay tuned…

Really love this commerical.  Great marketing to younger audience.
